ButterflyEvents – Cancellation And Refund Policy
Please read the following return and refund policy carefully.
Can I cancel my order?
- Orders for personalized/customized products or perishable items, such as flowers and cakes, cannot be cancelled once they have been processed.
- For standard products, you can cancel your order if it has not already been dispatched. Please note that most orders are processed within a couple of hours after being placed.
- If your cancellation request is legitimate, we will process your refund within 1 to 2 working hours of the cancellation.
Note: A ₹45 charge will apply for cancellations. Also, any discounted or exempted amounts are non-refundable.

Can I return an item?
Returns are allowed, however, if the product received is damaged, defective or incorrect, you may report the issue to our customer support team within 24 hours of delivery.
In case of a damaged/defective/incorrect product, you may choose one of the following options:
Return/Replacement/Cash Back: (Time limit: must be escalated within 24 hours)
- Refund to Original Mode of Payment: The amount will be refunded to your account within 3–5 working days.
- Return/Replacement: FA holds the only company authority on the following cases:
- If the complaint is initiated after 24 hours of the delivery date.
- If the complaint is based on an incorrect delivery provided by the sender.
- Mismatch of delivery address and recipient being outside of the provided address.
- Unavailability of the recipient at the delivery address.
Note:
If any of the above scenarios, the request for return/refund, refund, or cancellation will not be entertained.

What are the non-refund scenarios?
- Wrong order placed due to issues like typing errors.
- Incorrect address, phone number, or any other details.
- Perishable items like cakes, sweets, or any other perishable items that are delivered to the wrong address provided by the sender.
- Customer unavailability at delivery location or refusal to accept delivery.
- Request placed beyond the 24-hour limit from delivery.
What are the refund scenarios?
- Satisfaction Guarantee: ButterflyEvents provides a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
- Refunds will only be processed under the following conditions:
- Quality issues.
- Delivery delays.
- Item missing or incorrect item delivered.
- Order is cancelled before processing.
- Refunds will be processed only for the base product price. The exclusive courier/handling fee is non-refundable.
- If a coupon code was used and the refund is approved, the equivalent value of the coupon will be deducted from the refund.
Can you arrange a return pick-up?
- For Same-Day Delivery Products: (e.g., flowers or cakes) Due to perishable nature of these items, return pick-up is not possible.
- For Courier Products: Return pick-up is available for damaged/defective or poor-quality products if the return request is submitted within 24 hours of delivery.
- If a pick-up is not possible, we will request the customer to send the product back and will compensate shipping costs.
How long does it take to process a refund?
Standard initiation: Refund is initiated within 3 working hours after approval.
Timings: Amount is expected to reflect within 3–5 working days in your bank account, subject to the bank’s processing time.
